Society is facing a powerful grassroots movement. More than ever, citizens want to devise solutions and participate in transformative actions, in the name of public interest. To support this movement, we have created an independent and non-partisan platform whose purpose is to catalyse your ideas in order to implement actions that will shape the society of tomorrow. We operate through the direct collection of proposals, the establishment of awareness operations and citizen involvement. To do this, we work in cooperation with partners whose power of action complements our own. Our goal is to obtain significant, visible, country-wide or city-wide results. As a result, Make.org has become the essential civic tech player between civil society, central or local political power, and the economic forces whose social responsibility is engaged more than ever. Society’s transformation makes it necessary to quickly deal with various projects that we suggest defining together with you. Join us in initiating these changes and pushing back the boundaries.

- How AI is used
- Our platform leverages AI in several ways to enhance user engagement and improve outcomes. We employ a **Bayesian learning algorithm** to select proposals for voting. This algorithm ensures a fair and randomized selection process, giving all proposals an equal opportunity to be voted on, regardless of whether they were submitted early or late. This approach guarantees that every idea has a chance to become a top proposal, fostering inclusivity and fairness. AI also plays a critical role in **analyzing citizen-submitted proposals**. It identifies the main topics within the proposals and organizes them into clusters of smaller, coherent ideas. These clusters are then used to create the final report, particularly the **citizen agenda** of the most consensual and the most controversial ideas. Finally, we use **automated translation** to make transnational, multilingual consultations a reality. For example, ahead of the 2024 European elections, we conducted a consultation across 27 countries in 22 languages. Thanks to AI, citizens can participate in their native language while seamlessly interacting with others who speak different languages, fostering genuine transnational dialogue.
