CivicSpace focuses on building better feedback loops between residents and policymakers to build policies that improve racial and economic equity in Illinois.
We believe community members are the experts and cannot do the work we do without your valuable participation. As a thank you for your time and participation, you can expect: A $10-$300 Visa gift card or other gift card, depending on the type of project. We may also have some opportunities for part-time work for longer-term community researcher projects. The opportunity to make sure nonprofit and government programs intended to help hard-working Illinoisans are more responsive to community needs. Resources and information on initiatives in your community. Some participants will also have the opportunity to meet with politicians, civic leaders, and/or the media to share community perspectives on new laws or programs. If you would like to participate in paid and/or volunteer opportunities, please fill out our intake form. We will only use the information provided to send you projects that are the best fit for you.
