PulsivaHub is a civic AI companion that began prototyping in 2025 to support citizens across Africa in asking practical questions about constitutions, democratic rights, civic responsibilities, and how public institutions work. It is designed for young people, community organisers, journalists, educators, and everyday citizens who need accessible explanations of democratic processes and a simple way to check whether images or videos they encounter online may be AI‑generated or manipulated. PulsivaHub is currently in early testing, focused on refining its knowledge base, improving its explanations, and building responsible media‑verification features that respond to emerging AI‑generated misinformation in African contexts. Support and collaboration is welcome by testing the chatbot, sharing feedback, contributing civic content from their countries, and partnering with us on research, training, and translations to make civic AI tools more inclusive and trustworthy across the continent.
