When did it begin? MOVEMENTS was founded in 2025, born out of a frustration its founders had witnessed firsthand: activists and grassroots organizers were juggling petitions on one platform, community management on another, fundraising on a third, and communications scattered across multiple tools — with no cohesive infrastructure to hold it all together. The founding team brings deep, proven experience in this space, having previously built and scaled activism platforms internationally, including leading Change.org in Spain to 12.5 million users. Who's it for? MOVEMENTS is for anyone who wants to turn a cause into a real, lasting movement — from an individual who just witnessed an injustice and wants to act, to a seasoned collective already mobilizing thousands of people. Whether you're a first-time activist, an emerging community group, or an established organization, MOVEMENTS gives you the same professional-grade infrastructure to organize, grow, and sustain your cause. We believe social change should be democratized: everyone deserves the tools to generate impact, regardless of their size or resources. How can people help?
