When founding The Oaklandside in 2020, we launched Mission Metrics, an innovative pilot program for reader feedback.

With support from the San Francisco Foundation, the diverse group helps us track and grow the impact of our journalism. Its seven members, one for each Oakland district, read our stories and give us feedback to ensure we stay true to our founding values.
