Gamagori Hackathon: platform for young people to use digital technology to solve regional issues
lowercase is a design lab and studio partnering with community-led organizations to co-design and craft accessible, impactful civic tools rooted in data and lived experience.
lowercase launched officially in 2025, grounded in a commitment to justice, dignity, and community-led impact. It's for mission-aligned communities, organizations and civic leaders seeking to co-create solutions that are equitable, thoughtful, and rooted in the actual experiences of the people they serve. By weaving together data, research, and lived experience, _lowercase_ amplifies community voices and turns that insight into clear, accessible materials—supporting organizations to engage stakeholders, communicate complex ideas, and drive meaningful social change. You can engage through co-design sessions, consulting, or retaining our design team. Whether you bring lived experience, research data, or civic leadership, joining forces with _lowercase_ opens the door to collaboratively building more just and dignified civic tools. We also develop and build products and services designed to shape a world where everyone is able to live a dignified life. Sharing our story / projects would be a great way to show support.
