Indus Action

Indus Action helps vulnerable Indians access government entitlements to education, maternity and livelihood support.

Active
India

Working at three levels, Indus Action’s research and fieldwork help diagnose barriers to social benefits uptake, provide data, tech capacity-building, and insights to state governments, and address known obstacles while enabling citizens to become active problem-solvers. ~900,000+ Indians have accessed their welfare rights with support from Indus Action in the past ten years. They envision supporting another 2.5 million families to access their entitlements by 2025, and helping them out of poverty.
