iMonitor Platform

iLEAD AFRICA has launched iMonitor, a citizen-driven digital accountability platform aimed at promoting transparency, strengthening public service monitoring, and deepening participation in governance ahead of the 2027 general election.

The platform has three key features — iReport, which allows citizens to document and report community issues and governance concerns; iMonitor, which tracks public service delivery, government projects, elections, and public spending; and an AI-powered chatbot to help users navigate the platform and access civic information. Yusuff Liadi, chief executive of iLEAD AFRICA, said iMonitor is more than a digital application, describing it as civic infrastructure designed to bridge the gap between citizens and governance. He said the platform is intended to serve as a participation channel, accountability network, and citizen reporting mechanism that enables Nigerians to engage governance processes beyond election periods.
