The House Digital Service (HDS) partners with the House of Representatives Members, Committee Members and Staff in solving technological problems in the legislative process. Our goals: Making Congress More Effective, Efficient and Transparent Our outcomes have measurable impact and we focus on delivering better products and services to end users. Modernize and Revitalize House Technology The House Digital Service team's mission is to identify and deliver intuitive solutions that improve on Committees’ most significant challenges. Increasing the Quality of Constituent Communication We leverage participatory design tools to co-design with members of the House and relative constituents. Make the House Accessible to all Americans Every process improvement and product build has multiple end users in mind, so we can saliently connect the American public with House members and committees. Modernize and Revitalize House Technology We leverage human-center design principles, modern development stacks, hire responsible product management principles, employ rapid prototyping, and develop cloud solutions to build modern, emerging technical products.
