Eligibee, Inc. is a California nonprofit organization dedicated to improving access to public benefits for people living in poverty. We believe that government programs can and should function to bring about an equitable society, where everyone—regardless of identity and socio-economic status—has access to basic necessities. We listen to communities in need, and use technology to make safety-net services easier to find and obtain. We empower low-income people with information, tearing down access barriers and giving everyone the tools they need to survive and support their families. Eligibee’s flagship product is a free nonprofit screening tool that calculates eligibility for public benefits, such as food, healthcare, and cash assistance, across all U.S. states and territories. We ask seven human-centered questions and then connect people with resources to learn more about relevant programs, how to apply, and where to turn in their communities if they need more help. To learn more about and get involved in the Eligibee community: Make a tax-deductible donation Keep up to date with us on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram Spread the word about Eligibee and ask your friends and family to donate Your generosity will enable millions of families to keep food on the table, a roof over their heads, and the healthcare supports they need. Thank you for supporting our mission.
