DoorashoKaab is an open-source, bilingual (Somali/English) digital platform developed to empower Somali youth through civic education, voter information, and real-time electoral incident reporting. Designed for low-bandwidth environments and varying levels of digital literacy, it offers simple, accessible tools to support informed participation and enhance electoral transparency. By addressing gaps in information, trust, and engagement, DoorashoKaab contributes to more inclusive and accountable democratic processes in Somalia. DoorashoKaab is developed by Bareedo Platform, a youth-led organization whose mission is to promote a more inclusive, participatory, and responsive democratic system where citizens feel empowered, informed, and valued in shaping public policies and decisions.
