Comprova identified and aimed to undermine manipulation and amplification techniques online. The workflow was designed deliberately to encourage collaborative investigation that may continue beyond the election. Comprova was designed around mobile technology and sent project debunks on social media, and in particular WhatsApp, informing voters about the information they saw online. We plan to study how information is exchanged.
