Code for America Brigades National Advisory Council
The 9 elected Brigade members "represent the needs, ideas, and goals of all the Brigades and strengthen the network and community."
Responsibilities include: Grow the Brigade Program as a national movement by identifying trends and amplifying the full diversity of local stories, successes, and learnings from chapters. Ensure chapters have a structured way of providing input on the Brigade Program such that their diverse needs are well considered in funding decisions, policies, administration, and direction setting. Aid in the establishment of policies and plans for growth, communications, event guidelines, local governance, etc. Facilitate knowledge sharing across Brigades with consideration for differences in regional priorities. Uphold the network's Code of Conduct, reviewing violations, and provide advice to Code for America Network Staff on addressing issues and violations. Establish partnerships with complementary organizations. Be an ambassador for the Brigade Program.
