During the pandemic, Google.org and the City of Seattle launched CiviForm for residents and community organizations to find and apply to multiple programs in one place, and for government teams to streamline services to communities in need. Thousands of Seattle residents have applied for public assistance with the average time to apply reduced from 30 minutes to 5 minutes. CiviForm is collectively developed and maintained by the governments that use it, with pro-bono support from Google.org. In 2023, Exygy began stewarding the next stages of the CiviForm through grant-based funding from Google.org.
Now used in U.S. cities including Charlotte, N.C., and Bloomington, Ind., as well as the state of Arkansas, CiviForm serves more than 8 million people. (Source) — 2025-10
