Broadside started after I noticed myself and most of my friends were learning about U.S. congressional bills through TikToks and Instagram posts typically because they were organized by topic (health, women's rights, etc.) and simplified while pulling out key insights, historical context, and hidden implications. I realized we needed a better, clearer, and nonpartisan way to actually understand what’s being proposed in government and track the status to know when to call our representatives. I am building this because I needed it, but I think others will benefit from it as well! Use it. Share it. Talk about it. If you’re part of a nonpartisan org or civic group, reach out.
