Microsoft and the Clooney Foundation for Justice have teamed up to create TrialWatch, an app designed to help human rights advocates more easily monitor legal proceedings around the world.
Developed by DataGénero in conjunction with Juzagado PCYF No. 10 of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires, Argentina, Aymurai is a free, open-source software tool that allows for the quick and automated anonymization of personal data in judicial documents to promote the publication of and access to information on court rulings and the creation of databases. The tool anonymizes and extracts data from court rulings in a semi-automated manner. It is currently being implemented in the PCyF Court No. 10 of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires, the Federal Court of First Instance of Oberá, the Public Prosecutor's Office, the Judicial Powers of the provinces of Córdoba and Chubut, and the Attorney General's Office of the Republic of Costa Rica.
