Votewiser puts everything about a member of Congress or a 2026 congressional candidate on one page. For all 535 members (plus delegates) that means office contacts, official and campaign social-media accounts, committee assignments, sponsored legislation, press releases pulled from their official House or Senate site, latest news, YouTube, and a district map. For the roughly 1,750 candidates running in 2026 it means party, photo, campaign site and socials, and primary results as they are decided, with those advancing to the November general marked. A ZIP-code lookup on the home page takes a voter to their district with its representative, both senators and every 2026 candidate for the seat. The site is free, with no accounts or login. Every candidate in a race is listed on identical terms, and campaigns can send corrections, which are applied the same way for everyone. Data comes from the Library of Congress congress.gov API, Ballotpedia, state election authorities, and members' official press feeds; district boundaries for the ten states that redrew their maps for 2026 are rendered from each state's enacted-plan GIS data. Pages are static and fast, with a mobile version served automatically. It is built and maintained by one person as a civic project, and is meant to be a reference tool for voters, librarians, teachers, reporters and anyone who looks up members of Congress as part of their work.
