Mamori-ai Japan
Contact-tracing app developed by Code for Japan; source code released under open license in May 2020

Development was initiated by the Code for Japan community in March 2020. The project aimed to comply with the joint exposure-notification framework developed by Apple and Google. However, after the Japanese government decided to develop its own official contact-tracing app, COCOA, the project shifted to publishing its source code only. The code was released on GitHub on May 18, 2020.
