Joycotter

Joycotter is a collaborative "worldbuilding game" for real-world activism, built around the "joycott", a conditional commitment ("if this exists or this change happens, here's what I'll do") that makes latent demand and support visible before anyone risks building the thing.

Joycotter is a collaborative "worldbuilding game" for real-world activism, built around the "joycott", a conditional commitment ("if this exists or this change happens, here's what I'll do") that makes latent demand and support visible before anyone risks building the thing. Inspired by the board game Wingspan and an explicitly utopian ethics (Spinoza, Edward Bellamy, Star Trek's post-scarcity society), it lets people propose "what should exist," pledge conditional support or name-your-own-price offers for experiences, and coordinate collective demand toward a "rising floor" of universal material security, distinct from boycotts, petitions, or fixed-tier crowdfunding.
