CME Tracker is a free, information-dense web app that pulls from NASA, NOAA and ESA spacecraft to display coronal mass ejections live as they cross the solar system, with arrival forecasts, storm replays back to 1859, and free Earth-directed-CME alerts. Built by Mike DiCarlo, it shows the solar wind, Earth's magnetosphere and upper-atmosphere effects (satellites included) in 2D and 3D, publishes a back-tested accuracy scoreboard (12.3-hour median arrival error across 282 storms, misses included), and adds a free six-module course and teacher lesson plans, its civic hook being public awareness of space weather's real risk to grids, GPS and telecoms.
